Mainnet, layer 2 or BNB Smart Chain: pick the ETH route first

"Deposit ETH" can mean four different things at a crypto casino. Ether on Ethereum mainnet (often labelled ERC-20 in cashiers) is the default. Some casinos also accept ETH on layer 2 networks such as Arbitrum and Base, where transfers cost a fraction of mainnet gas. A few add a BNB Smart Chain version, which is a wrapped token on a different chain. The address may look identical on all of them, so the network label in the cashier is what decides where your coins land.

All 29 casinos we researched in depth take Ether, but their route choices differ. Cloudbet offers Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain and Base. Roobet takes Ethereum, Base and Arbitrum, and Shuffle Ethereum, BEP-20 and Base. Stake and TG Casino pair mainnet with BEP-20. 7Bit Casino accepts ERC-20 only and warns that ETH sent on other networks is lost, and FortuneJack accepts native ETH only.

If your wallet sits on a layer 2, check that the casino supports that exact network before sending. Bridging back to mainnet first costs gas and time, but it is cheaper than a lost deposit.

Why ETH floors sit higher than other coins

Gas on Ethereum mainnet is the reason many casinos set higher minimums for ETH than for other coins. Duelbits pays most coins from $10 but wants $50 for ETH over ERC-20. Wild.io and TG Casino take ETH deposits from 0.002 and 0.001 ETH but will not send less than 0.01 ETH. The pattern is the same: the operator pays a mainnet fee per payout and does not want to send amounts the fee would swallow.

Confirmation counts are higher too. Thunderpick and Lucky Block credit ETH after 10 confirmations, DuckDice after 5 and Roobet after 3. Ethereum blocks are quick, so Lucky Block still quotes 15 seconds to 5 minutes for the deposit to appear.

Ether networks, floors and fees at the listed casinos

The table lists the 15 casinos whose reviews give at least one ETH-specific detail, as of October 2026. 1xBit, BC.Game, BetFury, Bets.io, BitStarz, CoinCasino, Instant Casino, Jackbit, Mega Dice, Metaspins, TrustDice, Vave, Winna and Wolfbet accept Ether without a published network list, minimum or fee for it in our reviews.

Worked example: what a 0.05 ETH withdrawal costs

With Ether the fee is large enough to matter, which is not true of most coins on this site. Take a 0.05 ETH cashout:

1. Cloudbet deducts at most 0.00000899 ETH, so you receive at least 0.04999101 ETH.
2. DuckDice takes 0.000056 ETH and sends 0.049944 ETH.
3. Stake and Wild.io deduct 0.00067447 ETH each, leaving 0.04932553 ETH, a cost of about 1.35%.
4. FortuneJack charges a flat $4 and accepts the request only if 0.05 ETH is worth at least $50.

Stake's ETH fee is about 75 times Cloudbet's highest rate. At Wild.io's 0.01 ETH minimum, the same fee eats 6.7% of the payout. Compare that with the cost of play: a 0.1 ETH deposit wagered once at a 4% house edge costs about 0.004 ETH on average, so Stake's fee adds roughly a sixth on top. ETH players who cash out often should favour a casino with a layer 2 route or a low published fee.

Contract wallets, tokens and the ERC-20 rules

Ethereum's token standard means one address can hold Ether and many tokens, and casinos restrict what they accept:

• FortuneJack supports ETH as a native coin only, without smart-contract sends or tokens. A payment from a contract wallet may not credit.
• Winna's DAI and SHFL run on ERC-20 only and pay mainnet gas, while its USDT also runs on cheaper chains.
• Shuffle's own SHFL is an ERC-20 token with a maximum supply of 1 billion, tradable on Uniswap, and its price can fall.
• Lucky Block's LBLOCK cashback requires holding an ERC-20 token listed on several exchanges, adding market risk to casino risk.

Bets and bonuses capped in ETH

Bonus conversions into Ether are worth checking before you play, because the caps are easy to break:

• Bets.io takes ETH deposits from 0.0025, needs 0.01 ETH for its welcome offer and caps bonus bets at 0.001 ETH.
• BitStarz caps bets at 0.0015 ETH while a bonus is active.
• TrustDice starts its welcome bonus at 0.0022 ETH and allows 0.001 ETH per bonus bet.
• Metaspins matches a first deposit up to 2,500 USDT, quoted as 1.01 ETH.
• Wolfbet takes up to 9.23265553 ETH on one casino bet but limits profit per bet to 0.92326555 ETH; Stake's Originals allow 1,000 ETH and 700 ETH respectively.

Ether's price and your balance

An ETH balance changes value with the market as well as with your bets. If Ether drops during a long session, you can finish "even" in ETH and still be down in dollars. Fees work the same way: Stake's 0.00067447 ETH charge costs more in dollars after a rally.

Players who use ETH only as a transfer method can reduce the exposure by withdrawing at the end of each session. Converting to a stablecoin before depositing removes it entirely, at the cost of a swap.

Matching a listed casino to the way you use ETH

Layer 2 users have the clearest choices: Cloudbet supports Arbitrum and Base with the lowest published ETH fee, and Roobet takes both networks too. Mainnet users who withdraw often should look at DuckDice's 0.000056 ETH fee or Thunderpick's free withdrawals with a €10 floor. Duelbits suits larger cashouts, paying ERC-20 ETH in 5 to 10 minutes but only from $50.

Limits for ETH play

Gas makes small, frequent deposits expensive, so many players deposit larger amounts in one go. That makes a pre-set budget more important. Choose a weekly figure, deposit no more than that, and do not top up after losses.
