DuckDice is built for dice players who automate. Its Original Dice runs at a 1% house edge in main mode, accepts bets from one satoshi, and ships with Autobet, Flashbet, rule-based presets and a public bot API. The weak side is bonuses: deposit offers arrive as invite-only campaigns whose terms you only see when you claim, and VIP lossback starts after roughly $50,000 of wagering. It suits strategy players far more than slot fans or bonus hunters.
DuckDice at a glance
Every row comes from DuckDice's terms of use (last updated 13 July 2026), its FAQ and help centre, or the Anjouan licence register, all read on 5 October 2026.
Zentari Limitada and the Anjouan licence
The terms name Zentari Limitada as owner and operator, with a registered address in Sabana Oeste, San José. Payments run through a Cypriot agent, Defraya Ltd. DuckDice shares its licence entry and voucher system with sister site Tower.bet, which the operator describes as another casino with thousands of games and which also works as a sign-in option. Older third-party listings still show a different operator: AskGamblers names Sabant B.V. under a Curaçao licence, which suggests the brand changed hands or structure before the current licence was issued.
That licence is ALSI-202509013-FI1. The Anjouan licence register lists it for Zentari Limitada with status "valid", domains duckdice.io and tower.bet, an issue date of 16 September 2025 and an expiry date of 15 September 2026. The expiry date had passed when we checked, yet the status still read valid, and the seal validator linked from the DuckDice footer, generated on 5 October 2026, also showed "VALID". Neither page explains the gap. The regulator's status definitions list only Active, Suspended, Revoked and Expired, and its verify page says registry data is updated periodically. Zentari Limitada does not appear on the Anjouan lists of suspended or revoked licences. Its entry also runs for one year, where Wolfbet's and 1xBit's entries on the same register run for three. A renewal that the register has not caught up with is one possible reading, but we could not confirm it.
Where a complaint actually goes
Clause 22.5 of the terms says unresolved disputes can be escalated to Anjouan Licensing Services Inc. The regulator says otherwise. Its player complaint process states that the Authority "does not handle, mediate, or adjudicate player complaints" and asks players not to contact it about disputes. The real route has two steps:
- Complain to DuckDice through the complaint function on the operator's interactive site seal. Game disputes must be raised within 14 days of the session, account disputes (payments, suspensions, bonuses) within 30 days, and the operator has 30 days to answer.
- If nothing is resolved after 30 days, take the case to an approved ADR provider. The regulator lists EGIS ADR, Axion ADR, iGaming ADR and CADRE B.V., and the operator pays the cost.
Players in the licence's excluded territories (Australia, Comoros, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and the US) fall outside this process entirely. The terms also make DuckDice's own database "deciding" in any dispute, and clause 12.2 asks you to accept its judgement on how serious a breach was without appeal.
Clauses that matter more than the licence
- Every deposit must be wagered once before it can be withdrawn (clause 9).
- Accounts with a balance can be shut after six months of inactivity; funds are returned "upon request and when and if practically possible" (12.6).
- Withdrawal limits may be set by account status, history, coin and internal risk score, daily, weekly or monthly, without notice (15.4), although the home page says the casino has "no limits on deposits or withdrawals".
- Sports arbitrage, middling and "systematic patterns that disrupt fair play" are grounds for closure, after which any refund is at DuckDice's discretion (12.3 and 12.4).
- Politically exposed persons and their close associates are barred outright (clause 10).
Main mode, bonus mode, faucet
The 1% headline applies only to main mode. DuckDice runs several balances with different edges, and knowing which one you are betting from is the most useful thing a new player can learn here.
Original Dice draws a number from 0 to 9,999 and you bet Low or High against a target. Win chance runs from 0.01% to 98%, so payouts range from about 9,900 times your stake down to roughly 1.01 times. The minimum bet is 0.00000001 BTC (one satoshi) or the equivalent, though high-chance bets need a slightly higher minimum to keep the profit above zero. Range Dice uses the same 0 to 9,999 draw but pays when the roll lands inside a band you choose, such as 4,000 to 6,000, at the same 1% edge.
The ceiling is a maximum win of $300,000 per bet. Casino Guru counts that as a "low win limit" in its safety scoring, but for dice play it is far above what most players will ever stake. A bet or win only appears in the public High Rollers feed above $200.
Autobet, Flashbet and presets
DuckDice's automation goes further than most casinos that list dice as one game among thousands, and the FAQ documents every setting. There are three betting modes.
- Manual: one bet per click or hotkey, with stats visible after every roll.
- Autobet runs a fixed number of rolls or runs until stopped, with percentage changes to the stake on a win or loss, a reset-to-base option, stop-after-first-win or loss, balance floors and ceilings, and automatic High/Low switching on win, loss or every bet. Three speed settings are available. A page refresh stops it.
- Flashbet places a preset number of bets at the fastest speed the server allows, up to 100,000,000 bets in one run, which the FAQ says can take a day. Once started there is no quick way to stop, pause or edit it, and statistics are not live; the FAQ says it ends on its criteria, when the balance runs out or when you press stop, with no telling how many bets pass first.
Advanced Presets extend Auto and Flash with stacked rules on bet size, balance or sequences, applied top to bottom on every bet. Martingale, d'Alembert, Paroli and a hybrid strategy come pre-built, and you can save settings shared by other players. Developers get a documented REST endpoint for placing dice bets with an API key. The terms allow automation only through DuckDice's own software or third-party services it has authorised, and running unauthorised scripts can cost you the account.
None of these tools changes the expected return. A Martingale run at a 1% edge loses 1% of turnover on average, just faster, and Flashbet compresses a day of variance into seconds. Flashbet bets do not count for Lucky Bet draws, and a Flashbet stops automatically only on what you set before you press the button (the bet count, a maximum bet, stop after a first win or loss, a balance floor or ceiling) or when your balance runs out.
Deposit bonus campaigns and the real cost of clearing them
DuckDice does not run a standing welcome match with published terms. The home page promises newcomers a "Welcome Bonus Pack" worth up to $5,000 and tells you to choose it at deposit, but no public page gives its percentages, wagering or caps. Third-party reviews describe different splits, so we do not repeat them. What the operator does document is how its bonus products work. Bonus availability and terms may also differ by country.
Deposit Bonus: a credit line with a separate balance
The Deposit Bonus is offered "only occasionally for a limited segment of players". If you receive an offer, it appears at the top of the Bonuses page and expires if you do not claim it during the campaign. The rules from the FAQ and help centre (updated 19 May 2026):
- You contribute a share from your main balance (faucet funds cannot be used), and DuckDice adds a credit by the campaign's percentage. Both sit in a separate Bonus Balance that can only be bet, not withdrawn or swapped, until the wagering is cleared; after that the whole balance moves to your game balance, up to the campaign's cap.
- Wagering is counted on the whole Bonus Balance, so your share plus the credit, and the multiplier, deadline and house edge are set per campaign and shown on the claim screen.
- Maximum bet is $10 or 10% of the bonus amount, whichever is higher: $10 on a $50 bonus, $200 on a $2,000 bonus.
- Each campaign caps profit. The help centre's example: with a $400 limit and a $1,000 balance, you can cash out $400.
- Bonus-balance bets do not count as qualified wager, so they do not lift your level, and you cannot hit the jackpot with them.
- Cancel while the bonus balance is at or above its starting value and you get your share back. Cancel after it has dropped and you get what is left after DuckDice takes back its credit, or nothing, with no further penalty.
The qualified-wager rule has a history. In 2025 a player complained on AskGamblers that the FAQ then said bonus bets did count toward levels, while support said they did not. AskGamblers marks the complaint resolved, and the FAQ now says plainly that they do not count. DuckDice's own help centre also admits that an earlier version of the Deposit Bonus damaged its reputation and was "completely reworked".
Free Play Money and the VIP bonus, with arithmetic
Two offers come with published numbers. Free Play Money is a campaign bonus added on top of selected deposit tiers; your deposit stays untouched apart from the standard 1x playthrough. The FAQ gives "usual" terms of 35x wagering at a 3% house edge but does not say whether the multiple applies to the bonus alone. The Extended VIP Bonus, one of two options when you first reach VIP, carries 30x wagering at a fixed 3% edge, with winnings capped at 300% of the bonus; the page does not say what the 30x is applied to, and the table below assumes the bonus amount.
The wagering formula has a twist that matters if you prefer slots. Progress is weighted by each game's house edge against the 3% bonus edge. In the FAQ's example formula, a $1 bet on a 96.14% slot gives 3.86 ÷ 3, which we read as 1.29 dollars of progress (the FAQ does not state the unit). Clearing $3,500 that way takes about $2,720 of spins, and 2,720 × 3.86% is again about $105. The weighting makes the expected cost the same whichever game you use, so pick a game for variance and enjoyment, not to clear faster.
Our verdict: Free Play Money costs you nothing, but the expected loss over the full requirement exceeds the bonus itself, so anything you keep comes from a lucky run. The Extended VIP Bonus is mildly positive on paper. A deposit bonus campaign is only worth judging once you see its multiplier and cap on the claim screen; if you want a structured welcome offer with numbers published up front, our real-cost method for comparing bonuses shows what to look for.
Rakeback, levels and VIP lossback
The value that does not depend on campaigns comes from rakeback and the level ladder. All of it is paid as real money, which is a fair reason to list DuckDice among crypto casinos with cashback and rakeback.
Rakeback for everyone
Rakeback returns part of the house edge on every bet, won or lost, at up to 30% depending on level. It is shown in USDT, can be claimed in any currency as often as every 15 minutes, and is wiped if left unclaimed for 21 days. The FAQ's own example: $100 wagered, a fixed 1% edge for the calculation gives $1, and a level 5 player on 10% rakeback receives $0.10. The same section lists game coefficients (Originals 50%, casino 100%, live casino 50%, sports 100%) without saying how they combine with that example, and a separate eligibility note says live casino earns no rakeback at all. On top sit a weekly rakeback every Friday at 13:00 UTC for main-mode players and a monthly one on the 7th, both calculated individually and lost if not claimed before the next one arrives.
Levels and the VIP threshold
Every bet earns XP at 25 points per dollar wagered. Levels 1 to 70 pay a real-money reward every five levels, and every level after 70 pays one. VIP status unlocks automatically at level 40, about $50,000 wagered, and is permanent. The tiers:
Lossback is VIP-only. It refunds a percentage of net losses, excluding bonuses received, weekly on Fridays and monthly, but only if your profit over the past 30 days is negative. The page advertises it as up to $2,000, and a code from the DuckDice Telegram bot can double each cap. PrimeDice VIPs can apply for a one-month VIP transfer with an extra lossback of up to $2,500 at 0x wagering on a deposit of $250 or more.
Jackpot, races and the Decoy token
- The progressive jackpot pays when a dice bet of at least $1 rolls 7777 and its bet ID ends in 77. Your share grows with stake; the jackpot page showed about $118,000 on 5 October 2026 and a largest-ever hit of $83,946.
- Sniper Races run for a few hours with target rolls; the winners are those with the most stake on bets that hit a target.
- A monthly contest offers $15,000 plus 50,000 Decoy, and the chat-based Duck Hunt pays $0.07 per duck.
- Decoy is DuckDice's BEP-20 token, mined by dice bets of $0.01 or more and locked for 90 days. Holders share a daily release of 3% of the profit pool from DuckDice and Tower.bet. Decoy is a bonus asset: it earns no rakeback, lossback or other rewards and is forfeited if the account is closed.
Coins, networks and the 1x deposit rule
DuckDice has one of the widest cashiers among the casinos we review. The terms list 37 integrated currencies, and the deposit screen advertises BTC, LTC "or 39+ more", including Monero, Zcash, Dash, Ravencoin and Tether Gold. Tether alone runs on nine networks (TRC20, BEP20, ERC20, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche C-Chain, TON, Arbitrum and Optimism), and Bitcoin also has a Lightning option. If you mainly hold Monero for casino play, DuckDice holds it as a native balance with its own dice table.
The FAQ tables were read on 5 October 2026 and move with network conditions. DuckDice says withdrawal fees go to the network and that it charges nothing itself; you pick slow, standard or fast. The minimum withdrawal is about $20. Minimum deposits depend on coin and network, and the help centre says many currencies have none. Deposits can be credited instantly if they carry a sufficient network fee; the FAQ says amounts above the threshold set in the wallet need full confirmations, and an instantly credited deposit cannot be withdrawn until it is confirmed.
Payout speed and reviews
The help centre says most withdrawals are processed automatically within a few minutes, with some held for up to 72 hours for a security check. That typical speed puts DuckDice among our instant withdrawal crypto casinos. The terms describe manual reviews for fraud, compliance or risk that "typically" finish within three business days but have no fixed timeframe, and they reserve the right to request identity verification and source-of-funds documents before paying. Every deposit also needs 1x wagering first.
Cards, local money and vouchers
You can buy crypto by card through MoonPay, use Kinguin gift cards (which accept PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay and cards), or deposit CS:GO and Dota 2 skins worth $4 or more through Skinsback, with no skins withdrawals. Local-currency balances exist for the Azerbaijani manat, Kazakh tenge, Uzbek som, Kyrgyz som, Pakistani rupee and Bangladeshi taka. Card withdrawals in USD or EUR are offered except in a list of countries that includes the US and Pakistan. Vouchers move funds between DuckDice and Tower.bet without commission.
Slots, live tables and the sportsbook
The casino side is an add-on to the dice engine. The providers page lists DuckDice's own studio plus 12 others: Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, TaDa Gaming, In-Out Gaming, Spribe, BGaming, 1Spin4Win, Belatra, PG Soft, Gamzix, Platipus and Amatic. DuckDice publishes no game count (its casino page speaks of "thousands of games, dozens of providers", its home page of "hundreds of online slots"), and the lobby you see depends on your region; the FAQ says some studios restrict titles by country or currency.
- Crash and arcade titles include Spribe's Aviator, Mines, Keno and Plinko, BGaming's Dragon's Crash and its own Plinko version, which is enough to qualify for our lists of crypto casinos with crash games and Plinko casinos. These are studio games, not DuckDice originals, so their RTP is set by the studio.
- In the live casino, the logged-out lobby showed about 30 tables and shows, including Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette, Funky Time, Monopoly Big Baller and several blackjack and baccarat tables. The providers page does not name the live studio. Note that live games earn no XP or contest credit.
- The sportsbook is supplied by a third party inside the DuckDice interface, with over 90,000 live and 40,000 pre-match events a month in more than 100 sports and a 0.1 USD minimum bet. Weekly free bets scale with settled sports turnover, from $3 at $150 up to $12,000 at $500,000, and a combo boost adds up to 50% on accumulators of 4 to 10 selections at odds of 1.5 or more.
What is missing: there are no in-house Plinko, crash or Mines games, and the operator itself speaks of "hundreds of online slots", where larger crypto casinos list thousands.
Checking a roll: SHA-256 commitment, SHA-512 result
Original Dice and Range Dice use a classic commit-and-reveal design, documented on the fairness page and in the help centre. It is one reason DuckDice belongs among provably fair crypto casinos.
- Before you bet, DuckDice shows a SHA-256 hash of its server seed, so the seed is fixed but hidden.
- Each roll combines server seed, your client seed and a nonce (the bet count), and hashes the string with SHA-512 into 128 hex characters.
- The first five characters are turned into a decimal number. If it is one million or more, the next five are used, up to 25 times. The result modulo 10,000 is your roll.
- After you rotate seeds, the old server seed is revealed and you can recompute every bet, either in the bet window or with DuckDice's published JavaScript verifier.
Both hash functions are the standard algorithms in the NIST Secure Hash Standard. Seeds, bet details and profit are public by default, which lets anyone audit results; Hide My Bets switches you to anonymous "Ninja" display. The FAQ says the RNG is "audited and licensed", and a help centre article says "we have RNG certification from ITech Labs", though we found no certificate or report linked. AskGamblers also lists iTech Labs approval, and Casino Guru reports that a Gamecheck sample found no fake third-party games. The verifier covers only the two originals. Spribe, BGaming and the other studio games rely on their own certification. For background on the method, see how provably fair games work, step by step.
Restricted countries and the VPN question
Clause 7 of the terms bars Australia, Austria, Belarus, the Comoros, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, FATF-blacklisted countries and any territory excluded by the Anjouan authorities. Sanctioned persons and countries under OFAC, UN, EU and UK lists are refused, and transactions in breach can be frozen. The Anjouan seal's own excluded list is shorter, so the terms are the binding version.
The two pages disagree on VPNs. The About page says DuckDice does not "mind if you are using a VPN" and treats it as extra protection. The terms say any attempt to get round the territory restrictions, including manipulating the data DuckDice uses to locate you, breaches the agreement. Read the terms as the rule: using a VPN from a barred country risks closure and the loss of winnings. Our guide to what casino terms say about VPNs covers this pattern across sites, and whether crypto gambling is allowed where you live is covered in our country-by-country legality guide.
Support, complaints and what players report
Support runs through 24/7 live chat and support@duckdice.io. Phone support is offered to some VIPs by callback, and calls are recorded. Casino Guru rated live chat "average" in seven tests. A community forum and a Telegram channel carry announcements.
The public record as of 5 October 2026:
- Casino Guru: Safety Index 8.4 (High), no unfair terms found. Five complaints: 1 open, 1 resolved, 3 rejected and 0 unresolved, covering delayed withdrawals, confiscated winnings, a blocked account and a refund request over an ignored self-exclusion.
- AskGamblers: CasinoRank 6.3, player rating 5.5 from two reviews, and one complaint (the 2025 bonus case), resolved in two days on average. Its listing still shows the old Curaçao licence and Sabant B.V.
- Trustpilot: 3.4 out of 5 from about 313 reviews.
The recurring 2026 theme is the sportsbook. Two Trustpilot reviews (May and July 2026), an AskGamblers player review and a Bitcointalk thread describe sports bettors who say they were winning when their accounts were locked after the sportsbook provider flagged them for arbitrage or "abuse", and who say deposits were returned at best and profits withheld. The July reviewer and the Bitcointalk poster are the same person. In public replies DuckDice says it acts on the provider's risk team and is not always told the exact reason. That player says Casino Guru closed his €850 complaint because it does not mediate sports betting disputes. In the same Bitcointalk thread, a forum member who contacted DuckDice relays that the player was caught cheating on sports bets and that it was not a first violation, which the member read as sports-betting abuse and multi-accounting; the player denies it. Dice players appear too: a July 2026 Trustpilot review describes an account blocked after a dice win and an identity check, which DuckDice publicly called implausible, and an April review claims the dice became less fair, to which DuckDice replied by pointing to its open verifier.
Limits, the Vault and self-exclusion
The responsible gambling policy (updated 25 May 2026) and the FAQ list these tools, set from account settings:
- Loss limits per day, week or month.
- Wager limits per day, week or month.
- A daily game session limit.
- Temporary self-exclusion for a period you choose, or deleting the account.
New limits apply at once; loosening or removing one takes 24 hours, during which no further change is possible. The Vault lets you park funds from about $5 and lock them for a set time, with no fee. DuckDice says staff may intervene, from a reality-check message to a temporary or permanent block. No deposit limit is listed among the tools, although the loss limit covers similar ground. Help links include GamCare, Gambling Therapy and national services; RollShark's responsible gambling page lists more.
DuckDice against BC.Game, Jackbit and 1xBit
Figures for the other casinos come from our reviews of them.
Pick DuckDice if dice is the main event and you want automation, presets and a published roll algorithm. BC.Game has a far larger library and its own originals, Jackbit pairs Monero with a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence and wager-free rakeback, and 1xBit suits players who want a large match bonus and a big sportsbook more than dice tooling.
Who DuckDice suits and who should skip it
It suits dice strategists who want a 1% edge, one-satoshi bets and Autobet or Flashbet with rules they can save. It also fits players who hold Monero, Zcash or other less common coins and want them as native balances, and high-volume players who will reach level 40 and collect rakeback and lossback. Developers can run their own dice logic through the documented bot API.
Skip it if you want a welcome bonus with terms you can read before depositing, a slot library in the thousands, or a sportsbook you plan to beat: players' 2026 complaints describe sports accounts being closed on the sportsbook provider's flags, which DuckDice's public replies confirm is how those decisions are made. Players in the 16 barred countries cannot use it, and if you need deposit limits rather than loss limits, look elsewhere.

Clauses that matter more than the licence
The dice engine: three house edges and the automation tools
Main mode, bonus mode, faucet
The 1% headline applies only to main mode. DuckDice runs several balances with different edges, and knowing which one you are betting from is the most useful thing a new player can learn here.
Original Dice draws a number from 0 to 9,999 and you bet Low or High against a target.
Advanced Presets extend Auto and Flash with stacked rules on bet size, balance or sequences, applied top to bottom on every bet. Developers get a documented REST endpoint for placing dice bets with an API key.
Mobile experience
DuckDice says you do not need an app store: it installs as a progressive web app from Chrome or Safari through Add to Home Screen, on Android, iOS, Windows and macOS, and the dice games, wallet and sportsbook work the same as on desktop. On mobile the chat, and with it the Duck Hunt game, only appears when the chat panel is open.
Responsible gambling
DuckDice offers daily, weekly and monthly loss and wager limits, a daily session limit, temporary self-exclusion and account deletion; loosening a limit takes 24 hours. A Vault lets you lock away funds from about $5 for a set period.
