The same plinko board can cost 1% or 12% of your stake

Plinko's price depends on settings more than on the casino. CoinCasino lists Hacksaw Gaming's Plinko at up to 98.98% RTP, falling to 88.20% at some combinations of risk and rows. On $1,000 of drops, that is the difference between losing about $10 on average and losing about $118. Before you compare casinos, find out what each risk mode and row count returns.

The criterion for this page is simple: a casino qualifies when its review confirms plinko in the lobby, in-house or from a studio. That gives 27 of the 29 casinos we researched in depth. Vave and TG Casino are missing because neither review could confirm a plinko game.

Rows, risk and the published returns

Most plinko games let you choose a row count, usually 8 to 16, and a risk level. More rows and higher risk spread the bottom multipliers further apart, so the top prize grows while most drops pay less. A few casinos publish what each setting returns, and those figures are the most useful numbers on this page.

  • Winna states 99% for Low, Medium and High, and 98% for Extreme, so Extreme costs twice as much per drop.
  • Cloudbet states 99% across 8, 10, 12 or 16 rows and four risk levels, up to 100 balls per drop. Its optional BOOST costs a 20% surcharge on the bet.
  • Wolfbet runs its plinko at a 1% edge on low, medium and high boards.
  • BitStarz prints 98% for its Plinko Original.
  • CoinCasino publishes five studio versions: GameArt 96.01%, Darwin's Neon Plinko 97%, Betsoft's Plinko Rush 96%, Relax Gaming's Pond of Plinko 96.49% and the Hacksaw range above.

TrustDice lets you pick 8 to 16 rows and three risk levels with multipliers up to 1,000x, but publishes no RTP. The same is true at most casinos in the table below.

How each drop is decided

Where a casino publishes its code, plinko is a chain of left-or-right decisions. Shuffle turns its HMAC-SHA256 output into floats and reads each one as left or right. Wolfbet hashes your client seed, nonce and a sub-nonce once per row, and the sum of the rows picks the landing box. In both cases the path is fixed by the seed pair before the ball drops, and the animation only shows it.

You can check those outcomes after rotating your seed, which is covered in our explainer on how crypto casinos verify game fairness. Studio plinko games carry their own checks. Bets.io, for example, has no seed tool of its own, and its BGaming plinko titles show a hashed server seed inside the game. Casinos that run a house seed system on every Original are ranked on our provably fair crypto casinos page.

Profit caps decide how far a big multiplier can pay

Plinko's top multipliers sit on the edge boxes, and a profit cap can cut them short. Wolfbet publishes a maximum profit per bet equal to a tenth of its maximum bet, listed at 2,500 for USD. Any drop whose profit would pass that figure is cut back to it, and the account is also limited to $100,000 of winnings a day.

Other ceilings are wider. Shuffle allows a $1,000,000 win per plinko round on a $10,000 maximum bet, and Winna $400,000. Stake caps profit per bet on Originals by coin, at 20 BTC or 2,500,000 USDT. Check the cap in your own coin before you play high-risk rows with large stakes.

Plinko is usually off-limits with bonus money

Several casinos exclude plinko by name. Lucky Block and Mega Dice exclude every plinko game from their welcome offers, and Wolfbet's bonus code blocks Plinko alongside Dice, HiLo, Limbo and Keno. TrustDice excludes its Plinko, Metaspins counts plinko at 0%, and Stake blocks its Plinko Original while a deposit bonus runs.

Where plinko does count, it counts thinly: BitStarz Originals at 5% and BetFury's at 0.2. Jackbit's welcome spins are slot-only and plinko earns no VIP points. Shuffle stands out by counting plinko at its real edge, weighted against a 4% benchmark. If plinko is your main game, skip the match and look at rakeback instead.

A thousand $1 drops, priced

Expected loss is turnover multiplied by the house edge, so the figures below follow straight from the returns each casino states. They are averages; a single session can land far above or below them.

  • Winna on Low, Medium or High, Cloudbet or Wolfbet at 99%: about $10.
  • BitStarz at 98%, or Winna on Extreme: about $20.
  • BC.Game at 96%: about $40.
  • Hacksaw's plinko at its lowest CoinCasino setting (88.20%): about $118.

Rakeback trims these numbers slightly. Wolfbet refunds 10% of the edge from VIP level 2, which brings $1,000 of its plinko from $10 down to $9. TrustDice's rakeback formula uses a 0.98% factor for Plinko, and it publishes the top-level rate only, up to 21%.

Where each type of plinko player fits

For the lowest published price, Winna, Cloudbet and Wolfbet all state 99%. Winna adds a $400,000 win ceiling, Cloudbet adds row and risk choice up to 16 rows, and Wolfbet documents how each row of a drop is computed, though its profit cap limits large drops. Shuffle suits high stakes, with a $1,000,000 win ceiling, but publishes no plinko RTP.

If you want variety, CoinCasino carries more than 25 studio versions and publishes five returns, and Metaspins lists 25 variants. BitStarz prints 98% for its Original, a point lower than the 99% group. To weigh these against licence, payouts and support, our method for comparing crypto casinos side by side applies a score to each.

A plinko round takes about a second, and Cloudbet lets you send up to 100 balls in one drop, so small stakes turn into large turnover quickly. Decide a session budget first. Every casino on this list also carries crash games, compared on our crash crypto casinos page.

Common questions before you choose

Quick answers that connect this page with casino comparison, bonuses, coins, and review checks.

What is the best RTP for plinko at a crypto casino?

Among the casinos we review, Winna, Cloudbet and Wolfbet state 99% for their own plinko, and BitStarz 98%. CoinCasino's Hacksaw version reaches 98.98% at its best settings but drops to 88.20% at others. Most other casinos publish no plinko RTP at all.

Do plinko rows and risk level change the RTP?

They can. Winna's Extreme mode returns 98% against 99% for its other modes, and Hacksaw's plinko at CoinCasino runs from 98.98% down to 88.20% depending on settings. Higher risk mostly spreads the multipliers, so check the return for the exact setting you use.

Can I use bonus money on plinko?

Usually not. Lucky Block and Mega Dice exclude every plinko game, Wolfbet, TrustDice and Stake block their own plinko during a bonus, and Metaspins counts it at 0%. BitStarz counts its Originals at 5% and BetFury at 0.2, which makes clearing a bonus on plinko slow and expensive.

Is there a maximum win on plinko?

Most casinos with house plinko set one. Shuffle allows up to $1,000,000 per round, Winna $400,000, and Stake caps profit per bet by coin, such as 20 BTC. Wolfbet's cap is much lower at a USD-equivalent 2,500 profit per bet.

Is crypto plinko provably fair?

In-house plinko at casinos such as Shuffle, Stake, Wolfbet and Winna uses a server seed, your client seed and a nonce, so you can recompute each drop after rotating seeds. Studio plinko relies on the studio's own checks, and some casinos publish no method at all.

How much does plinko cost to play?

The average cost is your total stake times the house edge. At 99% RTP, $1,000 of drops costs about $10; at 98% about $20; at 88.20%, the lowest Hacksaw setting CoinCasino lists, about $118. Individual sessions can swing far from those averages.
