Metaspins suits slot players who want small, wager-free rewards on every bet and clear written rules: rakeback is paid as a share of the house edge, the welcome match is a plain 100% up to 2,500 USDT, and Casino Guru found no unfair clauses in its terms. The weakness is value. Rakeback tops out at 15% of the edge, and the operator changed hands in mid-2026. It suits low-key slot regulars, not high-stakes rakeback hunters.
All rows come from Metaspins' own pages (terms dated 29 July 2026, the welcome offer, the VIP Club and Level Up pages) or from the two licence registers, read in October 2026.
Rakeback maths: what 3% to 15% of the edge pays
Metaspins' main reward is rakeback, a share of the casino's theoretical edge on every bet, win or lose, with no wagering on what you receive. The Level Up page sets the rate by level, and you must claim it from the Rewards panel. Only bets of $0.20 or more count.
The table copies the page, which has two quirks: it lists the level 1 ceiling as 10% rather than 24% (3% × 8), and its terms give the gamble range as 6% to 120%. Unclaimed Level Up rakeback stacks for at most 7 days.
Worked example on a 96.48% slot
Metaspins uses Sweet Bonanza Candyland, with an RTP of 96.48%, as its own example. Stake $1,000 on it and the house edge on that play is 3.52%, or $35.20. At level 26 you get 7% of that, $2.46, which matches the figure on the Level Up page. At the top rate of 15% the same $1,000 returns $5.28. At levels 2 to 5 it returns $1.06.
Put another way, rakeback cuts the slot's effective edge from 3.52% to between 3.41% (3% rate) and 2.99% (15% rate). It softens losses a little; it does not change the direction of the maths.
The coin flip
When you claim, you can flip a coin to double the amount, up to three times in a row for 8x. The Level Up terms put the chance of each flip at 50%, and a loss wipes out the whole amount. Three wins in a row happen one time in eight. The expected value stays exactly the same as keeping the original amount; the flip only adds variance. The "up to 120%" headline is that 1-in-8 outcome at the highest level, and the "up to 50% rakeback" line in the Level Up page's search-engine description matches neither its 3% to 15% table nor its 120% flip ceiling.
Two pages, two rakeback descriptions
The newer VIP Club page describes rakeback credited every hour, "up to 10% of our theoretical advantage", using a Bronze rate of 5% in its example ($1,000 × 3.52% × 5% = $1.76). Its terms add that hourly rakeback has no wagering, must be claimed within 24 hours of the first credit or it all expires, and does not accrue on sports bets. The Level Up page still shows the 3% to 15% table above. Until Metaspins removes one of them, assume the lower ceiling.
The VIP Club itself has ten tiers, Copper to Black. Only Copper's thresholds are published: 0, 25, 75, 175 and 300 points for Copper I to V. Points are weighted by RTP: games at 96% or less earn 1.5x, games above 99% only 0.25x, and settled sports bets at odds of 1.10 or more earn 2.5x. Weekly lossback is paid wager-free every Saturday at 13:00 UTC, but its rates are not published. Some active-player perks need $90,000 of wagering in the previous 90 days. Compare the structure with other rakeback and cashback offers.
Welcome bonus: 100% to 2,500 USDT at 40x in seven days
The current welcome offer replaced the "100% up to 1 BTC" match that an older summary on the same page still mentions. The offer page sets these rules as of October 2026:
- 100% of the first deposit, up to 2,500 USDT or the listed coin equivalent (for example 0.0318 BTC, 1.01 ETH or 24.11 SOL).
- No minimum deposit beyond the one shown in the cashier. The offer can be claimed for 60 days after sign-up.
- 40x the bonus, to be completed within 7 days, with a maximum bet of $5 per spin.
- Your real money is used first. The offer page says withdrawing real money while the bonus is active forfeits the bonus and unclaimed rewards. Section 14.16 of the general terms says something different: "Players cannot withdraw any real money until the wagering requirement of the active bonus has been met", an early request is "automatically declined", and forfeiting once wagering progress exceeds the deposit means "loss of all money associated with the bonus including the deposit".
- No cap on winnings or withdrawals from the bonus.
- Bonus play counts towards levelling up.
Game weighting is where the documents disagree. The offer page gives slots 100%, game shows 50%, and live casino, table games, video poker, crash, keno, Plinko, Hilo, dice, mines and all Spribe games 0%. Section 14.13 of the general terms gives game shows 0% and adds Metaspins Originals to the 0% list. Section 14.7.2 also excludes games with collectible or scheduled bonus features. Plan on slots only, and avoid feature-collecting slots.
Worked example: 100 USDT
Deposit 100 USDT and you receive 100 USDT of bonus. 40x the bonus is 4,000 USDT of slot bets in 7 days, at least 800 spins at the $5 limit. The terms say wagering "starts the minute you play your first spin with the deposit", but not whether the deposit spins count towards the 4,000. Both readings:
- Deposit spins count: 4,000 USDT in total. At 96% RTP the expected cost is 4,000 × 4% = 160 USDT.
- Only bonus-money spins count: the 100 USDT deposit is played first, then 4,000 USDT more, 4,100 USDT in total, with an expected cost of 164 USDT.
Either way the expected cost is 60 to 64 USDT more than the 100 USDT bonus. If rakeback accrues on those bets at the 5% Bronze rate, it returns about 8 USDT (4,000 × 4% × 5%), which does not close the gap. The break-even point would need slots paying 97.5% or more. Without the bonus you only have to wager the deposit once, an expected cost of 4 USDT.
The offer suits a slot player who would have wagered 4,000 USDT that week anyway and likes the uncapped winnings. Everyone else is better off declining it and collecting rakeback from the first spin. Our real-cost method for comparing bonuses applies the same test to any offer, and our list of 100% welcome bonuses shows how rival terms compare.
Who holds the licence: an Anjouan SRL and a Curaçao N.V.
Metaspins' footer, terms and responsible gaming policy name 3-102-959384 SRL, a Costa Rican company, licensed by Anjouan under ALSI-202606048-FI2. The Anjouan licence register lists that company as valid, type B2C, issued 30 June 2026 and expiring 29 June 2027, with one domain: metaspins.com. The seal on the site leads to Anjouan's validation page, which on 6 October 2026 showed the same company with an operating status of VALID.
The earlier operator still holds a Curaçao licence that names the domain. The Curaçao Gaming Authority certificate for OGL/2024/1063/0437 shows Metaspins N.V. (company number 160102), licensed since 4 October 2024, status Active, with metaspins.com as its approved domain. Archived copies of the terms show the sequence: in July 2024 Metaspins N.V. operated under Curaçao licence 365/JAZ (sub-licence GLH-OCCHKTW0703232022), a copy from 9 May 2026 still names Metaspins N.V. under OGL/2024/1063/0437, and the terms dated 29 July 2026 name only the Costa Rican SRL. Players now contract with that SRL, and section 19 sends disputes to the courts of Costa Rica.
What the licence gives you in a dispute
The seal's validation page, on a separate domain from the Anjouan register, requires licensees to offer an independent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) service once the operator's own complaint process is finished. It also says the licence does not extend to Australia, Comoros, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK or the USA, and that complaints from those places "will not be entertained". The Curaçao Gaming Authority's online-gaming page says it "does not handle individual complaints against gaming providers" and "cannot order gaming operators to compensate players", but accepts complaints at complaints@cga.cw as possible evidence of a breach.
Metaspins' complaints policy promises an acknowledgement within one week and a decision within four weeks, extendable by four more with notice. Responsible gaming cases are aimed at five business days. It allows escalation to "an independent ADR provider" but does not name one; we checked the complaints policy, the terms and the responsible gaming policy. Complaints must be filed within six months, using a downloadable form sent by email.
Casino Guru lists 3-102-959384 SRL as the operator and says Metaspins is associated with two other casinos. The affiliate programme runs under the name 3rd Wave Affiliates.
Deposits, withdrawals and the fee promise
Section 11.1 of the terms lists deposits in BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, BCH and USDT, plus "whitelisted NFTs". The home page adds TRX and ADA, and the welcome terms give bonus caps in USDC, BNB, XRP and SOL as well. You can buy crypto on the site with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay through a third-party provider. For coin-specific alternatives, see our pages on Bitcoin casinos, USDT casinos, Ethereum casinos and Solana casinos.
Withdrawals go back in the same coin and by the same method you deposited with (section 11.3). Rules that affect a payout:
- Every deposit, reward and NFT revenue share must be wagered at least once before withdrawal (section 4.2).
- Metaspins charges no withdrawal fee under a zero-fees promotion that runs to 31 December 2028; its terms say "We reserve the right to rescind this promotion at any time". Network charges outside its control are not covered, and it may hold a withdrawal whose fees would exceed its value.
- The terms set no fixed ceiling. Section 12.5 says the maximum can depend on the payment method and allows large payouts in monthly instalments. Casino Guru records a limit of 20 BTC per week.
- The terms allow identity verification once gambling reaches an unstated threshold, or at any time, and withdrawals can be held until it is complete. Section 9.10 says requests must be answered, "or at least acknowledge receipt", within 30 days; otherwise Metaspins may suspend or close the account, and "we reserve the right to withhold withdrawals and confiscate the remaining balance".
- An account inactive for 12 months is charged up to $10 a month after 30 days' email notice.
Metaspins publishes no withdrawal processing time on its terms, promotions, home or VIP pages. One 2026 third-party review reports cashouts arriving "within an hour, tops"; treat that as one tester's experience. Our guide to the fastest withdrawal crypto casinos lists operators that do commit to a time.
The Metaspins Originals category lists 12 titles: Dice, Advanced Dice, Limbo, Plinko, Mines, Keno, Wheel, Diamonds, Blitz, Roulette, Baccarat and Blackjack. A second Mines game sits in the same category. In the site's game data the Originals carry the supplier code "origami", and the second Mines carries "asmodeus", so at least some of them appear to be licensed from outside studios rather than built in-house. We found no RTP or house edge on the Originals category page or on the game pages for Dice, Plinko and Limbo.
The site's game data lists provably fair lobby sections with studio games: five table games (BGaming's French, European and American Roulette and Multihand Blackjack, plus Spribe's Mini Roulette), eight instant games (Spribe's Aviator, Dice, Hilo, Mines, Keno, Goal and Plinko, and BGaming's Plinko) and seven BGaming slots. The home page says players can verify these "from the game's own menu". For how the hash check works, see how provably fair games work; our provably fair crypto casinos page compares sites that publish seed verifiers.
Two points limit the Originals' usefulness. They contribute 0% to bonus wagering, and section 15.1 of the terms caps roulette coverage at 70% of the table, with opposite bets on baccarat and other table games banned. The site's game data also lists 25 Plinko variants, and Spribe's Aviator is in the provably fair lobby, if Plinko or crash games are your focus.
Slots, live tables, sports and prediction markets
The site does not publish a total game count; the home page says "thousands". Its game data lists 81 provider entries, among them Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Ezugi, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Play'n GO, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Yggdrasil, ELK Studios, Relax Gaming, Big Time Gaming, BGaming, Booming and Thunderkick. Each provider record carries its own blocked-country list, so the lobby shrinks by region. The most-played list embedded in the site's game pages in October 2026 was led by Gates of Olympus 1000 and Gates of Olympus Super Scatter.
Evolution and Ezugi supply the live dealer tables. A sportsbook shares the balance and has its own 100% welcome offer, and a new prediction-market section lets you bet on outcomes of events. Prediction bets earn no VIP points, rakeback or lossback. Other recurring features are a daily lootbox opened at 14:00 UTC, weekly leaderboards (a home-page banner advertises $15,000), player "rain" in the chat from Bronze 1, and Pragmatic Play's network prize drops.
Restricted countries and VPN wording
Section 3.7 of the terms bars residents of the United States and Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom and its overseas territories, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Gibraltar, Spain, France and its territories, the Netherlands, Malta, Curaçao, Israel, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Pakistan, Panama and a list of sanctioned or high-risk countries. Australia is not on the terms list, but the Anjouan licence states it does not extend there.
Visitors from the United States see a block notice: "If you're using a VPN, please disable it and try again." Section 8.3 voids all wagering, bonuses included, if you use any means to bypass restrictions, and section 14.7.1 names proxy servers as bonus abuse. If you are in a listed country, do not play here. Our guide to what casino terms say about VPNs explains how these clauses are enforced.
Complaints record and the support route
Casino Guru's page, last updated in August 2026, gives Metaspins a Safety Index of 9.3, its "Very high" band. It counts 33 complaints: 0 open, 0 unresolved, 5 resolved and 28 rejected. It found no unfair or predatory rules in the terms and estimates yearly revenue above $5,000,000, which places Metaspins in its medium-sized category.
Casinomeister is mixed. On the positive side it calls Metaspins a "properly licensed, professional-looking operation with good Self-exclusion and Complaints policies with a low rate of complaints" and says complaints are scarce. On service it describes a "talk-to-the-hand approach to player complaints", says of the cases it handled that "the casino simply never responds", and reports that the support chat makes you get past a bot before reaching a human. Its page still names Metaspins N.V. as owner. Metaspins' home page says a human is available through the chat icon. Support runs by live chat, described as 24/7 in the responsible gaming policy, and by email at support@metaspins.com. The site says it covers languages "in whatever languages we can" and may use machine translation otherwise.
The record is short: the current operator took over in mid-2026, and its Anjouan licence was issued on 30 June 2026. A low complaint count under the previous company tells you less about how the new one will handle disputes.
Deposit limits, cool-off and exclusion
The responsible gaming policy (version 1.0) lists these tools, each taking effect immediately:
- Deposit limits, which need a cooling-off period before they can be removed.
- Cooling-off of 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.
- Self-exclusion of 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 3 years or for life, with all marketing switched off.
- A session timer and optional pop-ups showing session length, total wagers and net result.
The policy points to the Gamblers Anonymous 20-question test and to GamCare, GambleAware and Gamblers Anonymous. It says staff watch for erratic deposits, repeated withdrawal reversals and long sessions, and may step in. Loss and wager limits are not listed. Section 14.10 of the terms removes your eligibility for prizes if you self-exclude during a promotion.
How it compares with Stake, Shuffle and Jackbit
All four pay rakeback on the house edge; they differ in rate, bonus terms and licence. Figures for the other casinos come from our reviews of them.
Stake pays 3.5% of the edge from sign-up with an affiliate code (otherwise from Bronze, at $10,000 wagered) and has a far larger provably fair suite with published fees. Shuffle pays more (5%), allows a $10 maximum bet and has lower wagering, but carries a weaker complaint record. Jackbit suits players who want rakeback without any deposit match. Metaspins sits between them: its 3% starting rate is below Stake's 3.5% and Shuffle's 5%, its rate rises to 15% only after more than a thousand levels, and its main draw is a clean complaint record and written terms.
Best fit and poor fit
Metaspins fits a slot player who bets small and often, wants every reward paid without wagering, and values terms that a complaint site found fair. It also fits someone who likes Spribe and BGaming provably fair games and does not mind that Metaspins publishes no withdrawal time.
It is a poor fit for high-volume players chasing rakeback, since 3% to 7% of the edge sits in the same low range as Stake's 3.5% and Shuffle's 5%, and the 15% rate needs more than a thousand levels. It is also a poor fit for anyone who wants to clear a bonus on Originals, live tables or crash games, all weighted at 0%, and for players who want a long record under the current operator, which took over in mid-2026.
The short version in figures

Mobile experience
Metaspins runs in the mobile browser and offers an Install App option that adds the site to the home screen as a web app, with no store download. The casino, sportsbook, Rewards panel and on-site crypto purchase by card work the same way on phones.
Responsible gambling
Metaspins offers deposit limits, cooling-off from 24 hours to 6 months, self-exclusion from 1 day to lifetime, and a session timer with optional reality-check pop-ups.
