About RollShark
RollShark is an independent crypto casino comparison site. How we research reviews, how scores are set, how the site earns money and how to report an error.
RollShark compares crypto casinos. We publish a review for each casino we list, score it out of ten, and keep comparison pages by coin, by casino type and by bonus type so you can narrow the list to what you would use. We do not run games, take bets or hold player funds.
What we cover
The site lists casinos that accept cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. It does not cover fiat-only casinos or sportsbooks without a casino product. Every listed casino has its own review, and the full list can be filtered by coin. If a casino is missing, that means we have not reviewed it yet. It says nothing about the casino either way.
How a review is researched
A review starts from the operator's own pages: the terms and conditions, the bonus terms, each promotion page, the payments or help-centre articles, the fairness page and the responsible gambling page. From those we record the company behind the casino, the licence it names, the coins it accepts, minimum deposits and withdrawals, withdrawal limits, wagering requirements, maximum bets under a bonus, and the countries it does not accept.
We then read what regulators, complaint platforms and other reviewers have published about the casino, and we name the source when a claim rests on a third party. Where sources disagree we give the range or leave the figure out. Where we could not confirm something, the review says so.
Reviews describe terms and published facts. They are not accounts of our own play, and we do not present them that way.
How scores are set
Each casino gets one editorial score out of ten. An editor assigns it by hand after the research is done. No formula and no payment produces it. The score weighs:
- Withdrawals: typical payout time for crypto, limits, and whether payouts go through a manual review.
- Bonus terms: wagering requirement, what it applies to, time limit, maximum bet and maximum cashout, not the headline amount.
- Fairness: provably fair games, published return-to-player figures and independent testing.
- Games: size of the library, studios, live casino and in-house games.
- Coins: how many are accepted and on which networks.
- Operator and reputation: the company, its licence, and the pattern of player complaints over time.
A weak licence or a record of unpaid withdrawals holds a score down however large the bonus is. The method is described in more detail in our guide to comparing crypto casinos side by side.
How the site earns money
RollShark is funded by affiliate commission. Some links to casinos are affiliate links, and we may be paid when a reader signs up through one. This costs you nothing extra.
Commission does not set scores or review text. The order of the main lists is editorial. Where a position is paid for, it is labelled as such on the page.
Who writes the reviews
Reviews and guides are published under the RollShark Editorial Team byline. The team as a whole is responsible for what the site publishes.
Corrections and updates
Casino terms change often and vary by country. Each review shows the date it was published and the date it was last updated. If you find something out of date or wrong, tell us through the contact page or the suggestions form. We check reports against the operator's current terms and correct the page when the report holds up.
Gambling and risk
Every casino game has a house edge, so over time players lose more than they win. Nothing on this site is financial advice or a way to make money. The site is for adults only, and whether online gambling is legal depends on where you live, which our guide to the legality of crypto casinos covers country by country. If gambling stops being fun, our responsible gambling page lists tools and free help services.
